Director of Early Language Immersion Program

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Director of our Early Language Immersion Program. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for multilingual education, strong leadership experience, and a proven track record in curriculum development. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of the language immersion program, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, and creating a supportive environment for both students and teachers.

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the Early Language Immersion Program to ensure alignment with best practices in multilingual education.

  • Develop and oversee language-specific curricula (Spanish, French, Chinese, and English) for PreK through Elementary grades.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of language immersion educators.

  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff to ensure high-quality instruction.

  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to support their language acquisition.

  • Collaborate with school leadership to develop strategies for continuous improvement in academic achievement and language proficiency.

School Secretary

Job Overview:
 
We are seeking a dedicated and organized School Secretary to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, and staff, ensuring smooth daily operations within the school environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy office setting.
 

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors with professionalism and warmth, providing exceptional customer support.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate student attendance and other administrative records.
  • Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and clarity in communications.
  • Manage school calendars, schedules, and appointments for school administration.
  • Create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using Google Suite and other office software.
  • Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and act as a personal assistant to school administrators.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to facilitate effective communication within the school community.
  • Assist with enrollment, admission processes, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing excellent support.
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other office software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette.
  • Keen attention to detail, particularly in proofreading and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience as a clerk, front desk personnel, or in a school setting is a plus.
  • Bilingual in French or Spanish is a bonus, but not required.

Substitute Teacher (K-5 Grade)

Job Type: As Needed / Part-Time

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Substitute Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, are adaptable, and can step in as needed to ensure that students’ learning experiences are uninterrupted when the regular classroom teacher is absent. The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for managing and supporting a K-5 classroom, following lesson plans, and maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment.
