St. George, La., June 1, 2025 — Capital Renaissance International School (CRIS), entering its fourth year, will be renamed St. George International School (SGI) beginning with the 2025-26 academic year. The new name better reflects the school’s location and its commitment to expanding educational options within the city of St. George and the greater East Baton Rouge Parish community.

SGI is the only school in the region offering education to students as young as six weeks old in up to four languages: Spanish, French, Chinese, and English.
